One of the most complete set of silver's historical data can be downloaded from Stooq.com. Stooq.com's data of silver goes back until 1792 (!). Of course you can not await full EOD data for the 18th century, but it is still quite interesting... Stooq.com is a Polish website, but some parts of it is transleted into English.
