Standard and fast way to get almost any kind of marked data

We have discovered a new website that makes getting market data a lot easier than it used to be.
It is called Quandl.com.

How can Quandl help you?

Downloading data

Most importantly, Quandl provides a standard way to access almost any kind of financial data you can imagine.

Basic charts

Quandl provides basic charts to discover the entire downloadable time frame or for embedding it to your website.

Basic data manipulation for analysis

You can combine datasets and apply basic transformations to data such as calculating day-by-day absolute and relative change or normalize data.

Importing data into other softwares automatically

Registered users get access to software packages that allow automatic data importing to Excel,Matlab, Python, Maple etc...

How does it work?

Quandl has indexed millions of time-series datasets from over 400 sources. All of Quandl's datasets are open and free.
Since Quandl is only indexing data sources, the site is rather a search engine than a data provider. If copyright data seems to be served through Quandl's website, they can be notified and that dataset is going to be removed from the index.
Unregistered users are limited to access to Quandl's data 50 times per day.
(Registered users' access limit is 500 / day)

Try it!

Let's see how easy it is to download data from Quadl:
